The Commissioning process
Aims to work in a fair and professional way both with clients and artists.
To this end we ask all commissioning cleints to sign a working agreement. The framework of this is as follows.
The commissioning organisation will provide a written specification for the commission to be agreed by all stakeholders.
We will prepare designs to the specification. A fee is charged for this work, and a quote prepared for the commission.
Amendments can be made to the accepted design. These may be discussed and agreed before a revised design is prepared.
Scheduling of payments will be agreed in advance with the organisation. An initial deposit will always be required.
For all artwork sold, is determined by the following:
• a charge for materials/expenses claimed by the artist in creation of the work
• an optional fee to the artist for the creation of the work
• a contribution towards the work of commission4mission
• a donation to a charity or charities.
