Members Update: Tim Harrold

Two of the Domino box pieces are currently appearing in a group show at the Well House Gallery in Horndon on the Hill. Works on show will include paintings, drawings, mixed media, mosaic, and 3-dimensional assemblages. All of the artists in the show create work that has a meaning behind it, and find that this communicates through whatever medium they use. See for more information.

Tim Harrold is working on a new series of work using mainly Domino boxes, potentially for a solo show in Sheffield in late spring next year. Works in progress can be seen on

Tim also wrote a recent Visual Meditation for ArtWay on his own piece entitled ‘The Centurian’. ‘The Centurion’ is in part a response to ‘Stormtrooper Crucifixion’ by Ryan Callahan, which was part of the ‘Stations of the Cross’ exhibition at St Stephen Walbrook in London in March 2018. ‘The Centurion’ is an assemblage using a mixture of found objects, paint, and printed and handwritten material that is offered an alternative to ‘Stormtrooper Crucifixion’.
