Members update: Valerie Dean

The SeaValerie Dean is taking part in ‘The Sea’, an exhibition by 12 LOCUS ARTS Artists at The Sun Pier Gallery in Chatham from 3rd – 30th March. This is an exciting exhibition by selected Kentish artists all inspired by the sea, held in a lovely gallery overlooking the Medway. The gallery is open 10am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday and 12pm-4pm Sunday. Closed Mondays.

Valerie’s ‘Stations of the Cross’ will feature in Alternative Stations of the Cross, a service for Holy Week led by Jonathan Evens at St Martin-in-the-Fields, at 6.00pm on Monday 26 March in the Dick Sheppard Chapel. Jonathan will use meditations and images from ‘Mark of the Cross’, his collaboration with Henry Shelton, as well as showing the Stations of the Cross created by Valerie Dean. Valerie’s Stations of the Cross are available as a powerpoint presentation and as a pdf file at (see Buy art online). Her Stations of the Cross have a very clear and intense focus on details which are evocative of the whole.
