Each form is glazed separately before being assembled, which gives David his unique style. David’s layered glazing techniques are very experimental which means that his sculptures are constantly evolving.e5fae5_d3aaf9a8877146a1920f458d2589d05e-mv2

‘Painting the Light’ is an explosive new series of ‘cosmic paintings’ by the Australian-born artist Terry Ffyffe, winner of the Discerning Eye and Eastern Open Awards, at 5th Base Gallery – 23 Heneage Street, London, E1 5LJ – from . Quantum physics, images of space revealed via the Hubble Telescope, and the hidden world of atoms, cells and amoebas are among the inspirations for these radiant and spectacular new works.

Tim Harrold has been interviewed by IDEA13 Thurrock about his work and inspirations. He says, “I have been ‘inspirited’ since conception. Which is why I like a bit of conceptualism. I’m a great believer in being created to create.” IDEA13 was set up by Metal to establish a dialogue between local creatives and their audiences.
