West Sussex who has Asperger syndrome. He represents Jesus’ time on Earth in expressive and powerful paintings that emphasise emotion rather than anatomically correct illustration. His paintings sensitively respond specifically to the subject, for example: using abstraction and expressive colours in ‘Madonna and Child in Heavenly Light’ to create a heavenly sense of place; wounding/ cutting the surface as in ‘His Wounds Kept Bleeding’ and ‘His Exhaustion and Agony,’ or creating atmosphere seen in ‘I Am the Light’.
