Susan Latchford

During my voluntary role as the Chelmsford Diocese’s Environment Champion (2014-2016) my art hobby became something more. It seemed a natural progression from green Christian to Creation artist which is how I think of what I do, trying to reflect in mosaic the great sense of creative energy, diversity and love released through The Word. My inspiration is deeply rooted in Genesis 1 1:2, John 1 1:3, and my exploration of the hebrew word ‘ruach’ – a word of complex nuances that translates as spirit as well as wind or breath.
