Maurizio Galia

Galia 1983

Maurizio was born in Moncalieri (Turin) Italy in 1963. He graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, under the direction of Francesco Tabusso, Enzo Sciavolino and Sergio Saroni. From 1982 he was employed by various advertising agencies as a visualiser and illustrator for comics and books. During the 1990s he taught illustration and drawing at ATIF (Image and Comics Society Turin) and the IED (European Institute of Design) among others.

Maurizio now works freelance and would welcome new commissions.
