Members update: Terry Ffyffe, Michael Garaway & Deborah Harrison

IMG_9543 (2)Terrence Ffyffe presents a series of spectacular new ‘Cosmic’ paintings alongside a number of large dramatic religious works depicting the Passion of Christ, at St Stephen Walbrook (by Bank Station) EC4N 8BN, from 15th May – 9th June 2017. All are welcome to view these spectacular works at the Private View for the exhibition on 15th May from 6.30pm. Pianist Michael Homer will perform during the Private View, while Terrence Ffyffe, art critic Edward Lucie Smith and myself will all reflect briefly on the artworks. As with his highly successful first show of ‘Cosmic’ paintings ‘Painting the Light’ in 2016, this exhibition entitled ‘Transformation’ brings the worlds of Quantum physics, Mathematics and Mystical Spirituality together in a new series of stunningly beautiful oil paintings.

GarawayMichael Garaway has two works – both abstracted views of Reading – on display in the open call exhibition at the Jam Factory in Oxford (27 Park End Street, Oxford, OX1 1HU), 11 May – 4 June, opens 7am weekdays, 8am weekends.

 

 

 

WP_20160905_13_55_17_Pro (2)Forest and Rivers Open Studios (farOpen), first established in 1995, is a nine-day art trail, for artists, craft makers and creative businesses to open their studios. They will also present art in galleries and encourage group exhibitions to raise artist profiles, sell artwork and promote the fantastic diversity of talent, both professional and amateur, in the Forest of Dean. The studios event is from 7th October to 15th October and will include Deborah Harrison at the Newland Village Room, Newland, Coleford, GL16 8NP. Deborah’s work can also be seen from 1 July to 16 July 2017 at the George Café, High Street, Newnham GL14 1BS.
