Rob Floyd: Stations of the Cross and Resurrection

4. Christ Meets His MotherThe Stations of the Cross cycle painted for Manchester Cathedral last year by Rob Floyd is currently on loan and display at Lichfield Cathedral throughout this Lent and Easter. Rob will be doing two ‘talks and tours’ of the paintings, the first of which will be on Sunday 8th March at 5.00pm. For more information please visit www.lichfield-cathedral.org. Images of this Stations of the Cross cycle will also be used as part of Ravi Ravindra’s upcoming workshop ‘The Cosmic Sacrifice of Christ’ which will run over the Easter weekend as part of his ‘Death and the Meaning of Life’ course at the Krotona School of Theosophy in Ojai, California. For more information please visit www.ravindra.ca.

Rob continues to work on his Stations of the Resurrection cycle for Liverpool Cathedral and is now four canvases in: the complete cycleMary Magdalene and Christ (rather like the Stations of  the Cross) will consist of a minimum of fourteen life-sized canvases, but is likely to include some further meditations around the subject.
